Testimonials

I have just returned from a tour of duty with the Texas Army National Guard in Romania. It was a training mission that will be forever sketched in my memory. I open with this introduction because of what I did not only for myself, but, for the Army as well. I am currently in a Warrant Officer Candidate position awaiting orders for Warrant Officer School for the Army. I am, by genetic make-up, a very big man. Before the surgery, I weighed in at approximately 290 pounds. This weight is extremely too much for the Army standards. Though I could "tape-out" with my 21" neck and 42" waist, my appearance would not be acceptable for the Army as an officer. After several months of self-debate, I elected to have liposuction performed. I may become the Texas Army National Guard poster-soldier. Though my weight is a strong and bulky 270 lbs, inches have been lost, my stamina is better than ever and my overall self-esteem and self-confidence has continuous up-lifting encouragement every time I look in the mirror Now, what I do in the "real world" is much different than what I do in the National Guard. I work as a Technical Service Specialist. I travel throughout North America performing seminars and teaching classes on battery/electrical troubleshooting and diagnosis. When not teaching, I am writing training manuals, pamphlets, answering technical e-mail and phone call inquiries and on occasions work with NASCAR when battery/electrical issues are presented. My appearance is a factor for my civilian profession when standing before crowds of as little as 35 up to 750. I must look good to have the messages I am sending received by the audience. I will tell you that at 39 years of age, my wife thought that I was just going through the typical "mid-life crises" when I informed her of my intentions to have liposuction performed. In fact, the day of surgery she honestly believed that I was "pulling her leg". She left for work and I left for the surgery By the time my wife returned home from her employment, I was laid up in bed and trying to show no signs of discomfort. The next morning, my wife was changing my bandages and commented on how much of a difference she noticed. My wife has long wished for surgery herself. So, my surgery was definitely was the encouragement my wife needed to overcome her fears and apprehensions for her own make-over. Am I satisfied with my results...absolutely! Will I encourage others...absolutely! I thank you and your staff. The Army thanks you. Most of all, my wife thanks you.
